Anthony Dalton
Author of Non-fiction Books, Adventure and Nautical Articles

Anthony Dalton is Past President of the Canadian Authors Association. He is also a member of The Writers Union of Canada. He has written adventure, travel, and nautical articles for magazines and newspapers for over 30 years. During that time his fully illustrated feature articles have been published in 20 countries and 9 languages. A former expedition leader, based in West Africa and the Middle East, he is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and a Fellow of the Explorers Club.
Although he continues to write for magazine publishers in Asia and the Middle East, plus boating magazines in Canada and the USA, Anthony now spends most of his writing hours working on books. He is the author of eleven non-fiction books and co-author of two others.

Anthony Dalton is also a professional public speaker. In recent years he has addressed audiences at The New York Yacht Club, The Larchmont (NY) Yacht Club, the Vancouver International Boat Show, the Toronto International Boat Show, The New Bedford Whaling Museum (New Bedford, Mass.), The Canadian Assn. of Zoos and Aquariums, The Greater Edmonton Teachers' Convention, Calgary City Teachers Convention, Palliser District Teachers convention, The Canadian Authors Association, The Vancouver Public Library, as well as at writers' associations and conferences in England, the USA and across Canada. Anthony will be a guest speaker on selected sailings of Princess Cruises and has been chosen by the Smithsonian Institution as one of their featured guest speakers on Celebrity Cruises.
