Margaret Anne Hume is the official biographer of Mary Grannan, and author of "Just Mary": The Life of Mary Evelyn Grannan, published in 2006 by the Dundurn Group, Toronto.
She is also the editor of "Just Mary" Reader: Mary Grannan, Selected Stories, a new collection of stories and plays, written and broadcast by CBC storyteller Mary Grannan.
Margaret, a former librarian at Concordia University, is a graduate of McGill and the University of New Brunswick.
A member of the Vancouver Branch of the Canadian Authors Association for several years, Margaret has held several executive positions. She is currently serving as Past President (she was President from 2008 to June 2010). In 2004, she was a member of the Vancouver Conference committee. She was Vice-President and Programs Coordinator for 2006-2007. Margaret is also a member of the Federation of BC Writers.
