Don Rathborne
Photography Instructor
Don Rathborne is a resident of Richmond, BC. He is a graduate of the University of British Columbia and a Chartered Accountant with over 35 years experience in public accounting and as a Financial Executive in the corporate world. During his career Don also taught in several colleges and universities introducing many students to the disciplines of accounting and financial management principles.
He has had a lifelong interest in photography and, with retirement in 2003, this interest led to several cruise ship lecturing and teaching assignments on the subjects of digital photography and computer photo editing.
Don now keeps busy with photography, travelling, volunteering with charity organizations and teaching digital photography. He is a member of the Richmond Photography Club.
He and his wife, Susan, are proud grandparents and enjoy spending time with their family whenever they have the opportunity. They particularly enjoy family gatherings at their summer home in Point Roberts, Washington.
